Well, we're supposed to be getting 8 " -14 " of snow here tonight, so that'll give me something to do tomorrow aside from shoveling - write up the list of seeds I want to get > > > Hugs, > Marilyn > > offerings Seeds Of Change has available: > > http://store./seedsofchange/ *Smile* Chris (list mom) in sunny, 52 degree Colorado, USA > >
Guest guest
I think we have your weather. Probably sucked up by that virus that drank your coffee and ate my donuts. 70's here during the day, 50's at night. Sound familiar? ;-) Cheers! Guest guest
What is the Latin (or other common name) on Fit root? Myrrh seed is going to be really hard to find; it might be easier to find a plant (and that still might be hard). I love using Richters.com for seed also companion plants has wonderful organic, lovingly grown plants and seeds. Gosh, I just moved to Florida from Minnesota and am realising that I need to order my seeds ASAP...Yikes! Guest guest
*** I expected little plants to be all over the place, none. That indicates to me it is Genetically modified plants and seed I planted last year. Never ever have i SEEN THIS... sharon *** Hello Sharon, I used to do all my own organic gardening. Some of the things that I let go to seed would do strange things, like they did their own genetic modifications. I did not consider this bad as long as nature was in charge. Currently I am helping a good friend with her organic garden and she ordered all her seeds online and made sure they were certified organic. The things that she is on a second year with are HUGE. They are changed. This is common when something goes to seed and/or from one season to the next. I'm anxious to hear from others. I didn't have any problems and considered everything normal because I was well read in everything I did. I even had some huge tiger lilies that I dug up in a lot they were going to flatten. I planted them in my rock garden and lo and behold they mutated (all on their own) they came up beautiful with dozens of tiny flowers. No more big huge 10-12 inch flower heads. I considered it nature adapting the plant to the rock garden. My garden had lots of soil but lots of big rocks. I think it's fun to experiment with plants and flowers this way. All I had to do to get it to grow big is split it a few years later and plant in deep top soil. It exploded with brilliant oranges and reds with the black dots and a huge 14" flower. Just one. I left the other half in the rock garden and it came up with dozens of little lilies. My grandmother would start glads from seed and after a few years would have a new species that had made a bulb. She won awards for her glads. They were beautiful and something I always associate with her to this day. I'd love to hear more on this. I find it a fascinating subject. Love to all. Guest guest
Hi! I am new here...I was just reading in Barbara Kingsolver's new book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle (a great read, by the way) about how if you buy seeds from Johnny's, Territorial, Nichols, Stokes and dozens of other catalogs, you are likely buying from the GM food giant Monsanto!
