Coincidentally, yesterday President Bush opened his mouth. 'Nuff said. The President announced a plan to talk about holding future talks to talk about NOT reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In today's feature article, we explain the serious scientific logic behind this new initiative so thats mere mortals can understand how it all works. Also yesterday, NASA's chief obfuscator Michael Griffin went on National Public Radio and actually said, in a straight voice, that global warming was not a problem that we needed to be concerned with. This follows last year's removal of the phrase, "to understand and protect our home planet" from NASA's mission statement. (I'm not kidding.) Europeans, meanwhile, are laughing their heads off at practically everything coming out of America these days, but especially the politicized mumbo-jumbo packaged as "science." Science, it seems, it defined as whatever data fit the reelection agenda of whoever's currently in charge.
