Guest guest
Just a little side note - a lot of professionals smoke pot. A relative of mine who is a Psychologist said all her friends who are Psychologist or counselors smoke pot, and grow their own. Some use it to treat and control their pain. I know of one parent who gets it from a Pharmacy to give to her son who has autism, they live in CA. We have never used pot, but I cannot condemn the public or parents who are using it. What about parents who are alcoholic's ? Its legal but should they have their children taken away from them? Or, why not ask first if the measured and interpreted statistic is according to reality? What would "we" save them to? A statist education? Since it would be the state that commits them to foster care? And, it would be the state who would pay the foster parents. How much pot use would qualify for having one's children taken away? How much obesity would qualify for having one's children taken away? How many trips to MacDonald's would qualify for having one's children taken away? How many bullets and/or guns in one's house would qualify for having one's children taken away?Would the accusation of somebody else of being condemned to hell for being a homosexual (the committal of a hate crime) qualify one for having one's children taken away (for teaching them hatred)? Good grief!Let's rely on the state for everything. Do you personally have room in your world and life and view for others who have differing opinions that they act on? Or must we all be like each other?Ed- JazziDJess (AT) wmconnect (DOT) com Tuesday, May 29, 2007 7:34 AMRe: High Number Of Moms Admit Pot UseHigh Number Of Moms Admit Pot Use>> If we can find these folks and place their children in foster care, until the women serve out their sentence, we still might save those children. . Guest guest
It's hard for me to believe that grown-ups are having this discussion. Pot is a very good source of relaxation and good feelings. What's the fuss about. I avoid marijuana for health reasons, but I also avoid alcohol and cigarettes for the same reason. But if asked, I'd say that there would be no question that marijuana competes very favorably with alcohol, if both are consumed in relatively small amounts, whereas any comparison with cigarette smoking is ludicrous. Cigarettes, are easily, far worse than pot, in every respect except cost, which is due entirely to pot prohibition. jp - blessingsx10 Wednesday, May 30, 2007 8:13 AM Re:High Number of Mom's Admit Pot use Just a little side note - a lot of professionals smoke pot.
