Aren't there some of the needy in one of the pictures, tending to a car. Just think of how many people would be employed in keeping a house of that magnitude. And, they may not be paying any income tax in that country.

We are all in-house to the federal reserve bank (the house that J.P. Morgan, and some of his friends, built). We are needy too.

People can and do, build, destroy, design, develop, because they can.

To somehow denigrate what is constructed because of the "needy" of the world, is to fly in the face of the evidence of 'human nature'.

If this 'palace' housing units for the 'needy' constructed, there would not be the architecture, the design, the creativity evidenced that we see here.

Because, unfortunately, were the 'wealth' of the world evenly distributed amongst the Earth's citizens as of NOW, it would show a remarkable predisposition to redistribute itself exactly as it is now, within a very short space of time.

"Neediness" is a mental state, not a genetic or birthright factor.

Many are the examples of adversity which have been converted into great abundance through change of thinking patterns, all else - race/gender/intelligence, remaining the same.

So, it seems to me an empty level of envy which causes comments such as these to be made .. if we do not want to depend on their oil, and thus grow them wealth and opulence, why are we not emulating Edison, who, from memory had NO Govt assistance, or research funding, and develop our own means of propulsion and energy development??

I say, "Good luck to them", and in the words of Spock, "Live long and prosper"..........

As for their people .... what is done within their borders, should remain largely their business!

When the masses stop thinking 'en masse', then will humanity begin to move forward with an 'I want this, what do I have to do to generate it..../" mentality, as opposed to the current "I have a need, you are responsible for meeting my need, because I am needy".

Even Christ said "Me you have but for a time, but the 'needy' will always be with you"........

Just my thoughts before brekky on Friday.......
