Question on TB test (PPD)

I work in a social service agency which deals with a number of

mentally ill homeless adults, in an inner city environment. Staff are

now expected to get a yearly TB test. I did have this test a few years

ago, thinking it was harmless. I now realize that the product injected

under the skin probably contains all the same crap a regular

vaccination does, and I don't want any part of it.

My son, who is 27, never got any vaccinations. I was so adamant about

that. Now I am up against a similar fight for myself. Does anyone have

any links, resources, etc. in my personal fight? I know that I can get a

note from my N.D., but I would like more ammunition, if there is

any.Does anyone have a personal experience with this?

Many thanks,

Phyllis

You could substitute a chest x-ray for the PPD. Of course, there

are health considerations with x-rays as well, but in my view less

than with PPD.
