Guest guest
Hi all, I'm new. I wanted to post about our experience last night in the ER. We brought our 18 m/o son in because of a cut he got when he picked up an old bottle that shattered in his hand. (we just bought this house and didn't even know the bottle was there...) Anyway, it of course took hours, and of course the very first nurse we saw asked if his vaccinations were up to date. I said we don't vaccinate and she said that's fine. She then said why they recommend tetanus, and that we could refuse if we want to but they highly recommend it for this sort of injury. Fast forward 3 hours to a conversation with the Doctor. I asked him what could happen if we don't get the shot and he got tetanus? Dr. said "He will die." Of course I said "You are telling me my son will absolutely, unequivocally DIE if he gets tetanus?" Then he waffled some and said he could die. Then he went away and my husband and I talked about it, and decided against. We haven't done any reading on vaccinations lately, but we had decided against them 5 years ago when our first child was born. When he came back we told him of our choice. Then the doctor told us if we refused, he would have no choice but to call the police, and DSS. This perplexed me as I had already been told by two nurses that we had the choice, and then the Dr. is telling us it is his responsibility, he could be held liable and he won't let us leave unless we can come to some agreement (meaning agree with him and allow the shots - DTP and tetanus hemoglobin) He asked if I had any specific concerns about why I didn't want the vaccine. I said I won't agree to inject my child with any vaccine that contains thimerosal. I had previously asked him and both nurses if the tetanus vac still contained thimerosal, and none of them even knew what it was, (preservative) or that it contains mercury. We finally agreed (my husband and I) that the best interest of our son was to leave as soon as possible and not risk him being taken away. So we agree to the tetanus hemoglobin after reading the ingredient list with the nurse and verifying it did not contain thimerosal. They didn't have a single tetanus vac without it, so we were told that we will have to bring our son to his pediatrician for a tetanus shot on Monday and have 2 follow ups. So I'm left wondering if I allowed our rights to be trampled on? I had thought that stating our objection that is in compliance with our state law, was all I had to do? I had NO idea that the Dr. could override us and demand it, or accuse us of endangering our child's welfare and involve police & DSS? Any thoughts from anyone on the legalities of this? We live in MA. Many thanks, Tracy P.S. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms here:-)

Guest guest
Surely you wont go back to have the shot? They are hardly likely to check are they? If they do check then simply insist that the nurse - rather the two nurses said that it was YOUR choice and your choice is not to have the vaccination for you little one - please stand firm and call their bluff. If you are really frightened about the possible ramifications then get a homeopath to give you something and a piece of paper to prove you have done something about it - if you go to Pets4Homeopathy@com and ask the list members about homeopathic alternatives for vaccination there, they are more conversant with the vaccination laws in the US than I am HTH Jane in Australia - David West Monday, May 14, 2007 2:14 PM Re: ER visit - tetanus vac forced on our 18 month-old You will find your answers on the vaccination liberation page athttp://www.vaclib.org/Best regardsDavidTracy Austin <webinfusion wrote: Hi all, I'm new. Guest guest
Tracy Hi I'd say do anything you can to avoid compliance. Stage a reason or make a 'real' reason not to go in for it. These people's tactics for enforcing vaccinations etc. will be growing stronger, especially the more they face 'opposition'. Split hairs & stall would be my suggestions. Guest guest
Tracy,Please do not let these dictating fools push you around. They have no legal right to force you to vaccinate your child. Tell them that you will get a lawyer and sue them if necessary. I took my daughter in for a small cut she got on her lip and they started in on the vaccination crap. I told them flat out that it wasn't going to happen and why. They backed off and I went home. I showed no weakness and I responded with plenty of knowledge. Tracy, there is a lot more wrong with vaccinations then just the mercury. There are many other poisonous and toxic ingredients. Even thimerosol free vaccine cause injury. Injecting this crap and violating the first line of defense ( skin ) is a fools game. I never vaccinated my kids and they never spent one day in bed sick in their entire lives. I have a daughter 25, 19, and a son 20.The chances of your son getting tetanus is incredibly slim. Tetanus infection comes from a bacteria, tenanus bacillius, which is found in horse feces. Unless your son is scratched by a horse shoe nail or something closely related to horses, then the chances of him having a problem is in the billions. The only reason these fools want to vaccinate your child is to make money. Please don't compromise your child's immune system by injecting him with crap that will break down his immune system and put him in danger or death. I have know several people that have lost their child right after vaccinations were given. The first account was some folks that I knew well or thirty five years ago. The most recent was about a year ago. I know of one women who held her son down on the table while they vaccinated him. Two minutes later he went into convulsions and within seven minutes he was dead. Guest guest
Tracy,I forgot to tell you that the quack telling you that your child will die if he got tenanus is a lie. Even if your child got the microbe into his blood stream, his white blood cells would take care of it very soon; especially since you haven't compromised his immune system with vaccinations. Even if he did get it, there are herbal medicines that can eliminate the tetanus infection in a day or two. Read Dr. Mendelssohn's book; "Confessions Of A Medical Heretic", and you will find out how rare this condition really is. Dr. Mendlessohn was a world renowned medical doctor and in all his career he never saw the disease one time nor did any MD that he knew or talked to. He warned parents not to vaccinate but, to use proper nutrition and natural methods to keep your childs immune system strong. All the best to you and your family.Jerry Anderson Wayne Anderson <clearhead49 wrote: Tracy,Please do not let these dictating fools push you around. Guest guest
Hi Wayne: You mentioned below that there are herbal preparations that would deal with tetanus if one were to contract it. I am curious as to what they are. Contain goldenseal, oregano oil, what? I like to keep things on hand like that. My dogs shortly before becoming adult contracted parvo. One was in vets place and the vet agreed to give him the preparation that I made, which tasted really lousy to me, but to the dog as well, literally wrinkled his nose at it, after being squirted in with a dropper. One of the other people I know (gets email from the list) gave me the url for some natural formula (commercial though) that was specifically for it, and it worked. I used the one on the one dog (commercial on the one at home) and the other dog only my own. They both became fine although a lot of tending to was necessary. Parvo usually kills. The tetanus is a bacteria (correct?) and I'm imagining a formula with bacteria killers in it. ed - Wayne Anderson Tuesday, May 15, 2007 11:45 AM Re: ER visit - tetanus vac forced on our 18 month-old Tracy,I forgot to tell you that the quack telling you that your child will die if he got tenanus is a lie. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms here:-) Sucker-punch spam with award-winning protection.Try the free Mail Beta. Choose the right car based on your needs. Stand tall, stand fast...you have both law and God given rights to protect what is yours.......what a horrible joke to expect government, at any level, to protect anything other than big pharmas' bottom line..[ liability being the docs. primary concern] self, is to boost/build your immune system!!! All healers have their favorite ways/products to accomplish this....be happy to share my view!!!!! Kraig p.s. you might also search through the autistic realm /add/adhd to find a lawyer.....or just try to find a lawyer who has a damaged child....they are unfortunately, out there! ****** Kraig and Shirley Carroll ... in the woods of SE Kentucky http://www.thehavens.com/ thehavens 606-376-3363 --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
