I haven't read the story about bee populations but, I can tell you that in my opinion, there is no mystery. I have warned bee keepers for years not to feed antibiotic to their bees. I know bee keepers that have lost their whole population of bees due to antibiotics and they where in agreement with me when I told them that antibiotics were the reason for the die off. No doubt that antibiotics and pesticides and other airborne chemicals are taking their toll.
