Guest guest
r Any ideas on how to rid my son of a dark rash on his neck. We have tried prescription creams but none have worked. Do you know what the rash is? Suspicious rashes can mean Lyme's disease. I've been through that twice and a blood test can determine it. Guest guest
a picture would help The reason I suggested Lyme disease is because I had an "unusual" red rash on my upper chest (no bullseye) and the doctor couldn't figure it out. It was just a big red rash that seemingly came out of nowhere but wouldn't go away. It turned out to be Lyme disease. Initially the doctor thought I was wrong, but from having had Lyme's before I insisted he take a blood test for it. It turned out to be positive. Contrary to what we have been told, the rash can appear anywhere, not necessarily at the spot of the bite. Gloria

Guest guest
Unfortunately, once you've had lyme disease, every test will turn out positive. And even if you haven't had lyme disease before, there are many false positives. Sharyn MorningGlory113 [MorningGlory113] .... from having had Lyme's before I insisted he take a blood test for it.
