Good Morning All...

Having done some research, I have found the best way to use the berries is to make a syrup. I will use Doc Christophers recipe, most likely. But, I am still searching the net for other recipes.

Thanks..

He said he drank the tea as his primary way of taking the herb. So, apparently the tea works very well.GloriaFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. I prefer gel caps and keep tincture on hand in case I run out of gel caps,

since I buy fresh powdered to make the gel caps. I've been controlling my

bp and keeping my cholesteral down for over a decader with only hawthorne

and garlic. I take three 00 gelcaps morning and night and one

garlic/parsely oil morning and night - works like a charm.

Interesting chuckle about hawthorne. A lady I took a class from who has an

herbal farm sends sample tinctures to the Gov't to keep her license for

medicinal alcohol (the purest there is). As long as you are making

medicine from it, they cannot charge you tax. At any rate, she has to send

in a sample of everything she makes to her renewed every so often. They

argued with her on the hawthorne because it tasted so good they accused her

of trying to sneak in a tasty liquer instead of a medicinal tincture! She

had to send them reams of info on hawthorne to get them to grudingly back

down. <grin>
