Guest guest
I had a clot in my leg a few years ago. I got mine from a combination between the cast on my leg and the Birth control pills. I was lucky and had no movement of the clot. I had to take heperin and then coumidin for 6 months or something. Yep it is a scary drug, but not as scary as another clot. Make sure you check for decreased or increased blood clotting with any herbs that you use. There are some that will cause changes in the clotting process and will not change your prothrombin time results. Check on the willow. Vitamin K can decrease the effectiveness of the coumidin and aspirin will increase a different part of the clotting factor process. Check for changes in Platelets also for any herb. (I dont think there are any that do this) I am lucky and have no ill effects from the break or the clot, I wish you the same.
