Guest guest
Tinnitus is often caused by TMJ, or tempero-mandibular joint problems. The jaw bones connect very close to the ear, which is why TMJ can cause such headaches, including hearing problems and ringing in the ear. If it is TMJ you should be able to get relief by simply opening your mouth very slowly all the way, as far as you can, and holding the stretch for two or three seconds, and then slowly closing your mouth. The ringing should stop after a few tries. If not, prescription medication can often causes tinnitus. You can discuss with your doctor about changing the dose of your meds, if you are on them.
