Guest guest
I haven't read this book yet, I just got it. Called The Complete Herbal Handbook for the Dog and Cat. By Juliette de Bairacli Levy. It's out of print so you'd have to hunt it up on used book sites. This book was recommended to me by several of my animal and herb loving friends. So far it looks like a great book for herbal information. diane in nw mt - tammi herbal remedies Sunday, October 03, 2004 2:45 AM Herbal Remedies - Pet Remedy Book Info What's the best pet remedy book for dogs and/or cats? Guest guest
Dr. Pitcairn's Guide to Natural Health for Dogs & Cats by Richard Pitcairn. It is a great book I like that book and also, because I have cats, I like The Veterinarians' Guide to Natural Remedies For Cats by Martin Zucker. Under each ailment he has the recommendations of a few different holistic vets and it's interesting to see the diverse assortment of natural remedies each has successfully used in his/her practice. Zucker may also have written one for dogs. I'm not sure. You can check by looking up books by Martin Zucker. Gloria
Guest guest
Called The Complete Herbal Handbook for the Dog and Cat. By Juliette de Bairacli Levy. I once had a dog with eye cancer, and I wrote Juliette de Bairacli Levy a letter asking for her recommendations, as my dog's particular problem wasn't discussed in her books. She is certainly a nomad!! LOL! I got a response about a year later! It turned out that she was traveling in the mountains of Spain and the letter took forever to get to her! She wrote me a long hand-written letter back and I only wish I had saved it!! By that time I already had a pretty comprehensive herbal program for my dog underway, but, from what I remember, I added a couple of her herbal suggestions.
