My dog has an inflamed ear. I have washed with colloidal silver. I have used Golden Salve on it, still am. She is taking the inflammation homeopathic tincture. She eats a whole food, organic diet. Supplemented with vitamins and minerals.

The ear canal is not affected. Just the lobe. She had yeast a while back, which we treated (and thought we'd successfully cured) with alcohol and vinegar.

The inflammation recedes, but comes back. So my guess is I am not doing a strong enough tincture or either not often enough or ...well, I am scared.

Anyone have any idea? I am going to continue this regimen till Monday then take her to her Holistic vet.

The first time she went to the vet for the swelling he gave her Apis and it worked. However, this time it didn't work.

Thanks,

Flo

Do you feed any grains in your dog's diet? Or use kelp or flax as supplements? All those are known to exacerbate yeast/allergy problems.

Flax, yes. In her omega3 supplement. I did not know that, She eats mostly veggies and meats and vitamin c and e supplements.

I will stop the flax now. I thought that was good for inflammation. I don't think this swelling is in relation to the yeast though. It doesn't have an odor :(

Thanks,

Flo

If you read the "Yeast Connection" book by Dr. Crook, you will find that vinegar feeds yeast.
