Guest guest
Andrea...She should listen to Doc's tape. She needs basic nutition first ... Total Nutrition , Panther Piss , Vitamin E. Nothing will work well if she is eatting sugar , junk food etc. After getting the basic nutrition/ diet covered , body cleansing will take care of it....Mary O - " Andrea " <andreadancingunicorn <herbal remedies > Thursday, September 30, 2004 10:47 PM Herbal Remedies - Chronic Fatigue Syndrome > > Hi Everyone, > I just joined your group and I was wondering if anyone had any > information for chronic fatigue syndrome and what herbs would help as > my 18 year old daughter has it and she still after 3 years has days
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I just joined your group and I was wondering if anyone had any information for chronic fatigue syndrome and what herbs would help as my 18 year old daughter has it and she still after 3 years has days CFS is another problem caused by a virus. Have you had your daughter checked for the epstien-Barr virus through a blood test? This virus is a member of the herpes simplex family. We all carry this virus with us. Because of how the virus lives in our bodies, it is in all practicality immotal. That is not to say it can't be controlled, because it can. But it is something that will never go away completely. Several of my clients have maintained their remission status for many years. But a stressful event will bring on an attack. CFS is mainly found in women between 15-30. I have seen it women in their 60's and 70's, usually after the death of a spouse. Factors that may bring on the virus are usually associated with the same set of criteria; lack of sleep, poor diet and unrelenting stress. The main concern about CFS is to control the virus. Changing the diet will help and controlling the stress will also help as both of these modifications increase the activity of the immune system. the immune system is what will eventually destroy the virus. Do a google on CFS and you should find the CFS organization that puts out a newsletter as well as offers specific advise for people suffering from CFS. Guest guest
James, I wonder sometimes where you get all this information that you post. Such as this one. Having an immortal virus causing CFS sounds like poppycock to me. And what you mention about 60-70 year old getting CFS from this virus after a loved one dies! Well, they just suffered a loss and are upset!!! That's the simplicity of it!!! A virus causing this???? !!!!!!!!!! Lisa Belcher - CFS is another problem caused by a virus. Guest guest
Your daughter will want to make sure she actually has Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which is often caused, as someone just said, by Leaky Gut syndrome, which is what occurs when Candida goes systemic in the body. There are other problems that mimic CFS, like mononucleosis, Epstein-Barr, and dental mercury poisoning.
Guest guest
Yeah she's had all the tests under the sun and they have all come back negative so we went to see a CFS Specialist and as she had a virus 3 years ago, then the CFS straight after it, he seems to think that the virus caused it. Also it has left her with less Seritonons in her brain (which create happiness) so he has put her on Lexapro 10mg {escitapram (as oxalate)}, 1 tablet every day for a year until she starts to re-create her own seritonons. She seems to be slowly improving with that. But I thought there might be some herbs around that someone knows off that would help.
