Re:Biophonic scanner CORRECT information

I have some knowledge about this machine. I have seen a presentation by

a companies rep.

The machine can only be leased by someone selling Pharmanex

supplements, they hold the exclusive on the scanner.

There is NOTHING like it on the market. There is no other non-invasive

way to test antioxidant levels in the tissue without cutting the tissue

out. There are some saliva tests of some sort that I dont know about,

but nothing that does what this machine does. It uses technology based

on an optical method known as Resonance Raman Spectroscopy. This is

major high tech. It uses a blue laser that shines onto the skin and

measures the carotenoid levels in the tissue.

go to http://www.pharmanexusa.com and click on the picture of the

scanner, on the next page you will see a list of links, near the bottom

is downloads and a video that you need windows media player to see. It

explains the science and how it works.

They are using it for scientific research, this is no BS and it is real

science. By giving you a number, you can have, for $5 or $10, an

extremely good idea whether your diet is good enough or if your

supplements are doing their job! If you eat LOTs of fruit and veggies

or take a high quality supplement with antioxidants, the number will be

nice and high. The range starts at 10,000 and goes up from there. I

saw 2 people in a large group have numbers over 70,000, the one was

using Whole Food vitamins of some brand and the other juiced a LOT.

Very few of the general public get enough vit and min from their foods

and this machine does a reasonable job of proving it, it did to me.

Yes the machine is a tool for selling Pharmanex supplements. They

guarantee that if you get on their " life pack' program that your number

will go up or our $$ back for the supplements. I did the scan last

November at a convention and got a 15,000, after 6 months on the life

pack that number was over double and it has been as high as 45,000 with

later scans. i must admit, I am very impressed.

They are not out there to push you to join the company, but they have

well researched products and have produced products that the Olympic

teams use. If your number is high, there is no push to buy the

supplements, if your number is low, it is your choice. As my MD friend

says, you know what it is and you have an educated choice to make.

I am lucky to have an MD near me that leases one of these and so I can

have my scans done often, there are very few of them out there, they

only started leasing them out less than 2 years ago.

James, I really think that you should have better information before

you state things as fact. Between this and the incorrect CS

information, I don't give any of your statements any credit and I

wouldn't come into your shop for the second time. You need to do better

research.

Ah, you must be a NuSkin rep. And, yes, it *is* MLM. (However, IMHO NuSkin

is one of the only reputable MLM's out there. Products live up to their

hype and the company officials have morals/ethics....btw, they're Mormons.)

Sharyn, who has no financial interest in this message at all, but does use

NuSkin products

Thanks Mary Jo....I asked James for information concerning his reply to my cancer cure question but, as you know, have not received an answer. When you refer to cs are you refering to cancer? Did you read Doc's reply to the question?

"Scanning your level of antioxidants"? Interesting notion but what does this ultimately tell the person? We are much more than a pile of 'free radicals' running around in our systems. Yes 'free radicals" cause deseases and advance the aging process and antioxidants can reduce them, but shouldn't a company interested in wellness be more interested in products that provide results than a machine ?

It just goes to show that the US is so starved for technology when it comes to our health that we will even take something like this to hopefully, even remotely give us some form of indication about our over- all- health. Go ahead, check the antioxidant levels...Now do you have what it takes to balance out your system...In fact your system is like no one else's ... different levels of all internal systems have different demands, purposes and assimilations in every body. What is an ideal antioxidant level for you?

The proof is in the testimonies. If what someone is taking to alleviate their internal problems works...enough said...

Just a thought,
