Hi all,

Curious to know if anyone frequents any local Asian Markets? I live

in the Boston area (where a Chinatown exists!) and walked through it

today. I was thinking that the markets there most likely would have

some good (and potentially inexpensive) finds.

Does anyone know what to look for there?

Thanks!

I always buy my mung beans for sprouting at asian supermarkets. I usually pay 69 to 99 cents per pound.

I agree that they are much cheaper. A package of nori is $3 something at the health food store and I get a package of it for $1.50 at the Asian market. The same with noodles. I like rice noodles and clear bean noodles and they are about 99 cents for a big package. Much cheaper than grocery stores or health food stores.
