Guest guest
To save on space only the list of things to have on hand from the newsletter are posted here....Mary O The following would be the absolute minimum emergency herbal supplement kit needed for every family member. A two-month supply of Total Nutrition (Two Canisters): You can live on this formula indefinitely, and never worry about starving. It has all the basic building blocks needed to build strong healthy bodies. Four ounces of the highest, quality Echinacea Tincture you can find: Echinacea, fortifies, and fires up your immune system into overdrive. Eight ounces of Total Tonic (a quart would be better): Total Tonic is Nature’s antibiotic. It is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-parasitical, and anti-viral while promoting healthy intestinal flora. This recipe is so simple to make. One Intestinal Cleanse #1: This formula not only keeps you regular, but is very cleansing of the bowel. Two Intestinal Cleanse #2’s: Not only can this be used to detox a bowel that may have picked up toxins, but it can also be used as a poultice on an open wound to promote healing and draw poisons from insect and snake bites. One Cayenne Tincture: Cayenne is the single most important emergency herb. It can bring one out of a heart attack or a stroke instantly. To keep someone breathing an extra five minutes, Cayenne is your tool. If I could have only one herbal remedy, this would be the one. One Lobelia Tincture: This is the other "must have" remedy for calming anyone down. This remedy can bring a person out of a full-blown epileptic fit, and is specific for any lung infections including asthma and breathing difficulties. One Liver / Gallbladder Tea (3.5 oz.): This not only helps to clean the liver, but also aids in cleaning out the Kidneys. One Tooth & Gum Formula: This will handle any problems that may come up with the teeth and the gums. You can even use it as a tooth cleanser. One BF & C Tincture (Bone, Flesh, and Cartilage): This formula promotes rapid repair and re-growth of all cellular tissue. It can also be used as an antiseptic. One Herbal First Aid Salve: For the cuts, scraps, bruises, and abrasions. One Herbal Snuff: This cleans out all nasal passages including the sinuses. One Deep Tissue Repair Oil: For the heavy bruises and injuries, or sore muscles and torn ligaments. Eight ounces of Total Healing Poultice Powder: This can be placed directly on a large open wound and can bring about a miraculous healing. This was the recipe I used on the dog that had been bitten by a pack of coyotes where a large chunk of the flesh had been taken out. There was nothing to put back together. We simply had to re-grow the entire area. It worked wonderfully well. Two ounces of DMSO: Not only will this make all the herbs above extremely potent; it will get the bio-chemicals of these herbs where they need to go fast. It will also attack free radicals while helping to rebuild tissue back to the original blueprint. Well, that about wraps it up. Oh, I’m sure there are others that could be added to the above, and you should definitely put your own favorite formulae in there with them. But these are the basics! The absolute bare bones necessities! All of the above have a multitude of uses, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Yours in health and love, Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.
