persistent cough

I am relatively new to this group. I am amazed at the wealth

of knowledge here!

I would like to know about natural remedies for persistent

coughing. My mother has had a cough for two years now. Doctors

have done a multitude of tests and bronchoscopy, but are

baffled at the cause. None of the medicines they have

prescribed have given very much relief.

I also have a co-worker who seems to be going down the same

road as my mom. Her cough has lasted almost three months now.

Her doctors also have no clue as to what is causing this.

Also, my mom has suffered a constant headache for about two

years. She says that during this time she has never been

without it. Some days the pain is worse than others and she

spends most of those days in bed. Again, after tests, MRI's,

cat scans, etc. doctors are dumbfounded.

Both my mother and co-worker are ready to try anything!
