Guest guest
Hell everyone- I am on a long term medication - called Diamox -it is a pretty powerful diuretic. I am taking it for a condition known as Intercranial Hypertension. Short and Sweet- I have toooo much cerebral fluid not being absorbed by my brain and spinal cord. The build up of the fluid has cause my optic nerve to be swollen and I now have Optic Disc Edema and Pailedema. Swelling of the nerves and disc behind the eye w/ mild visual distubance. ANYWAY- the Diamox seems to work. Lessen the fluid and the visual disturbance some----- But its side-effect are horrible. I can't taste food and it would appear that I am chewing on sand- my mouth is horribly dry. And I also have a constant after taste of ROTTEN EGGS. Is there an Herbal Diuretic out there? _______________ Get ready for school!
