Guest guest
take a lot of vitamins, and some different herbs for things but nothing been helping at all! What are you taking on a regular basis and what dosage?? Gloria
Guest guest
Hi Rachel, Try fresh, raw, organic garlic, and take about 8 cloves per day. If you have any handy, take the Echinacea, Total Tonic, and Black Walnut Hull tincture. I agree. Two garlic capsules a day isn't going to do much. I would go for the fresh raw and plenty of it. I would also take at least 2 droppers of echinacea tincture a day, 3,000 mg. of powdered vitamin C, 2 tbsp. of Total Tonic, and a dropper or 2 of a good blood cleanser like Red Clover Blossoms or Burdock. And drink tons of water!!! Gloria
Guest guest
I think I caught a Virus yet again! And trying to figure out what to do for it. But also I need to try and prevent them too. I probably get them a lot because like a lot of other with the Auto-Immune Diseases I have, can catch things very easily. I eat very healthy, and take a lot of vitamins, and some different herbs for things but nothing been helping at all! So what can I do to try and get over this? I just ate two cloves of garlic, yuck!!! How much garlic should I eat for it, and for just one day or how long? I've been taking garlic pills for a couple of weeks now, not sure how much I should take but been taking 2 pills twice a day. And what can I do in the future to try and prevent getting sick so much? I don't have the money to do anything huge and drastic with a whole bunch of different herbs, plus it's all getting my parents to buy me any herbs! Thanks for any suggestions!!! Guest guest
Okay....I'm a little confused on the Total Tonic. What does this mean?? "You can use the mash right away or wait two weeks and tincture." If you use the mash right away, how much do you take/how often? And if you tincture, same question. Guest guest
8 cloves a day, isn't that a bit much? I only weigh 81 lbs. (yeah I'm tiny, lost a lot of weight being sick, and on a diet I was on for my sickness) But i'm only 4'10. Umm I take Calcium I think 600mgs a day, was taking this liquid calcim and magnesium stuff but ran out. Multi- Vit, 4 a day. B-Complex 2 a day. Wow, I can't think. Umm Black Cohosh and Vitex for my endometriosis, one more month of that cause don't think it is helping any. And been using some progesterone cream. I don't have any of the herbs you mentioned. I just barely starting looking into herbal remedies, and my family has never used any so we don't have any, and a health food store is 45 mins. away, and don't get to it that often since we only have one car. I don't think I can stand eating 8 cloves a day! Plus how many days should I eat that much? I could barely stand two than the smell after made me sooo sick! I couldn't even take a nap cause the smell was bothering me so bad. Luckil I don't have to worrry about going anyone smelling like this. And Vitamin C, I'm not sure I can have cause it can be bothersome to the bladder, and I have a bladder disease. My bladder is very sensitive, so have to be very careful what type of vitamins and herbs I use. The bladder was quite bothersome today, the garlic could have possibly even bothered it. But I'll try it again tomorrow, and see if it was the garlic that bothered it or not! But I'll look into this herbs and see what I come up with, just have to be very careful! ~Rachel herbal remedies , MorningGlory113@a... wrote: > Hi Rachel, Try fresh, raw, organic garlic, and take about 8 cloves per day. > If you have any handy, take the Echinacea, Total Tonic, and Black Walnut Hull > tincture. > > I agree. Guest guest
Hi Sharyn, He means that tincturing takes two weeks, but you may not be able to wait two weeks, in which case you can use the mash immediately. For tincture, you take 1 to 2 dropperfulls 3 times a day. Not sure for mash, but I'm sure someone else here will/can answer that question. love Lisa - Sharyn Cerniglia herbal remedies Wednesday, September 22, 2004 12:25 AM RE: Herbal Remedies - Virus's Okay....I'm a little confused on the Total Tonic. Guest guest
If you use the mash right away, how much do you take/how often? Hi Sharyn, I take 2 tbsp. of the mash if I feel like I'm coming down with something. I have never made a tincture of Total Tonic. It supposedly kills anything in it's path...bacteria and viruses. From what I understand, you can take as much as you want. I just can't handle the heat!!!! Gloria
Guest guest
8 cloves a day, isn't that a bit much? Then just start out slowly. Maybe crush up 1-2 cloves, cut them up small and swallow with water, just as if you were taking pills. If you have no adverse reactions build up to 3, 4, etc. Gloria
Guest guest
And Vitamin C, I'm not sure I can have cause it can be bothersome to the bladder, and I have a bladder disease. If you take Vit. C, make sure it's buffered. Ester-C is the only one I can handle because it is non-acidic. Gloria
