Guest guest
My Wife had a historectormey (SP) about 10 years ago. and to this day she suffers from sever hot flashes. she does not and will not take ERP therapy for it and I back her up on that choice. However we have tried a few things natural, but none have worked. I think the one thing she tried was the cream she rubbed in her thiey. anyway. I was wondering if someone could list SEVERAL ideas because the first may not work and we may have to try another. if its ok could u name the product that we can goto the health food store to get that has the mix of herbs already mixed up, like a brand name, it will be eaiser for us to know what to look for that way. she is despreate to get reliefe from the repide cold to hot she goes through. many thanks. Guest guest
That is so good she decided not to do ERT! Our foods have so much synthetic estrogen that often times women's problem can be related to an imbalance caused by all that estrogen. Then "doctors" think we should pull out a woman's organs and/or add even more estrogen with ERT! It is despicable. What product did you use and what was in it? Guest guest
It's all about the Female Formula. The recipe can be found in the files but if you don't want to make it, I believe you can get it from Doc. Guest guest
I don't remember the name of it but I do know it was natural. it was a cream. I wish I could but it was years ago when she used it. She is taking the tonic I mentioned in another post. I don't know if that mix of herbs will help with hot flashes or not. the post was called Just Picked this up. u might read through the list of herbs and see if any of those or helpful to her. but I would really like to help her out in this area. Thanks for responding. Poneyboy - Justin Giddings herbal remedies Monday, September 13, 2004 11:00 PM RE: Herbal Remedies - Good For Wife That is so good she decided not to do ERT! Guest guest
After a totally symptom-free perimenopause and no periods for well over a year -- and cockily thinking it was over and had been a no-brainer<G> -- I started getting night sweats and hot flashes (well, warm flushes) about three weeks ago. Someone on either this list or another holisic list I'm on mentioned the herb motherwort and I immediately went out and bought some motherwort tincture and started taking it 4-6 times a day. It has definitely helped immensely. I'm happy with helping immensely instead of stopping them cold (no pun intended<G>) because I know my body is going through something it needs to and I want to let it do what it needs to do....just want it to be as comfortable for *me* as possible. Just in case;-). Gloria
