Guest guest
Thanks so much to Jasmina and Kelli for your kind and informative replies. I decided to elimainate all cigs and alcohol. This is not problem. I think I have used those things in the past to " relax " me. I went to Whole Foods yesterday and bought Ultimate Cleanse by Nature's Secret to detox myself.I started to take the two pills last night. I intend to go through the list files and gather information to follow the list program but wanted to go ahead and get started now. I also got organic potatoes, salad, prepared chicken noodle soup (for today's lunch), red pepper hummus with pita bread for snacks, and my favorite chicken ginger broth by Annie Chun. This morning I went to the Farmer's Market and got some zucchini, squash, red and yellow peppers. I then went to Kroger's and got some Tom's of Maine mouthwash and organic milk. For dinner I am doing to cook some black bean stew and brown rice. I feel like I have more energy this morning but it very well my be a mental thing. I REALLY want to take such good care of myself and get to feeling better. I am curious and excited about the way to eliminate sugar from my diet. I am going to try to eliminate as much processed foods as possible. I have decided that since I am not currently working outside the home that I am going to do everything I can to restore my health. I also want to get all my produce from either WholeFoods as organics or the local farmer's market. Thanks for everyones' encouragement and PLEASE keep the wonderful information coming. Guest guest
Dear Elisabeth, I am glad you started with your changes!!! You did good for the beginning, but be careful with beans and rice. You have to sprout them first. You can read about sprouting in the files. Also try to take fresh vegetable as much as you can. I make salad like this: lettuce, onion, zucchini, fresh spinach, basil leaves, tomato, pepper, olives, some sprouted greens, grated broccoli, grated cauliflower, mix all together with olive oil, some Celtic sea salt, and lemon juice. Sprinkle with sprouted almonds, or walnuts. I take sprouted bread, and avocado spread: mashed avocado with garlic juice and lemon juice. You will be amazed, how full you are with one big bowl of salad and how good you will feel after this meal. Also I would recommend Total Nutrition from Doc. It is great breakfast, and so easy to make. It gives you minerals, vitamins, proteins, fat and energy, you can fly all day long. This is for the beginning Regards Jasmina "epdeans1" <epdeans1 wrote: Thanks so much to Jasmina and Kelli for your kind and informative replies. I decided to elimainate all cigs and alcohol. Guest guest
That is wonderful Elizabeth!! You've made some wonderful changes already! I know that you're going to start feeling better and you'll be happier for it. It always works that way for me! Just a couple suggestions given the info you posted about what you bought: - Whole Foods has an organic version of the ginger broth, and it's just as good (better because it's organic!) as the Annie Chun's. My daughter has that all the time. Look for that next time you're there. - The chicken noodle soup, pita bread, bean soup and rice all contain enzyme inhibitors. At the very least you should be taking Plant Enzymes with your meals. Ideally, you should make these yourself with sprouted grains/beans. A specific suggestion is to try the Ezekiel brand of sprouted tortillas rather than the pita bread, and when you cook your bean soup and rice, sprout the beans and rice first. You can find information on doing this on www.sproutpeople.com. How about the Total Nutrition? Can you start that sometime soon? Keep it going girl! You're doing great!
