Guest guest
Hi Francine, There are two parts to the sprouting thing - the soaking, which is the part that gets rid of the enzyme inhibitors, and then the rinsing, which is when the sprouting takes place. This applies to all grains, beans, nuts, etc - any " seed " type thing that would turn into a plant if planted properly. Some items, when sprouted, produce the typical " tail " which is the start of the plant (winter wheat, for instance). Other things (such as wild rice or almonds) do not have the tail when sprouted. Either way, you just spoon it into your mouth, or pop it with your hand, and chew! LOL! There's no dissecting or anything involved, just pure enjoyment! Guest guest
Thanks Kelli one more question do you need to use regular nuts of different types and wash and let them sprout? Or do you get everything in seed form and go from there promise last question. francine
Guest guest
Hi Francine, I'm not sure I understand this question. A nut, or grain of rice, or whatever, is the actual seed. That is what will sprout into the plant. Did that answer it? Just go down the bulk aisle in your favorite health food store. Any of the raw nuts, beans, grains, etc are candidates! Some do work better than others, and then that's when you'll get into some more specific questions, so I hope this wasn't your last question! LOL!!
