Guest guest
Hello, thanks everyone for responding to me. As far as my current health lifestyle is is not very good. This is due to letting myself go when I was working nights and now not having much oomph in knowing what to do. I do no structured exercise other than normal household duties, I smoke 5 cigs a week, I drink 5 glasses of wine a week. I eat more processed foods than I care to. I am having a hard time knowing where to start because I have to make so many changes. Can anyone tell me the number one thing I should do to get back on track. I am very interested in doing a total cleanse and eating MUCH better but could use some suggestions. Thanks for everyone's help. You guys are my lifeline right now. Guest guest
Dear Elizabeth There is couple of first things you should do. First go to your refrigerator and clean completely, go to your cabinets and clean them completely, throw your cigarettes and wine and start fresh day with herbal tea. Get fresh veggie and fruit, and good juicer. When ever you want cigarette eat fruit, when ever you want wine drink juice. When ever you don't know what to do with yourself go outside and run.Throw away your microwave, and unplug your TV. Read as much as you can articles from files on this group, read again and again, and start applying as much as you can. I wish you good luck. Guest guest
Hi Elizabeth, You can definitely turn this situation around. Sounds like you have the desire to do that, and that's the first step! What change you make and how quickly depend on you. Some people tend to stick to something better if they make changes gradually. Others (myself included) do it better if they go " cold turkey " and make all the changes at once. So, depending on which of these methods you gravitate to, here's my recommended list. (Recipes for these things are in the files.) 1. No more sugar (Read book: " Sugar Blues " ) 2. Add Total Nutrition (will help overcome sugar cravings too) 3. Reduce alcohol to 1 glass red wine per week 4. Reduce coffee to 1 cup organic per day (you didn't say if you drank coffee) 5. Any meat or dairy consumed is organic only 6. Add more raw fruits and veggies to your diet (organic if possible) 7. Add Total Tonic 8. Add Panther Piss & Vitamin E 9. Exercise at least 30 minutes per day, even if only a brisk walk 10. Reduce dairy and meat consumption as much as possible 11. Any breads, grains, pasta, beans, etc consumed must be sprouted (see www.sproutpeople.com for info) 12. Everything is organic! Including produce, grains, etc. Start with one step at a time or do the whole thing at once, whatever you can easily handle. Keep in mind that as you make changes, your body is going to heal. If you make changes quickly you may go into a healing crisis. (You can find info about this on the web or in the message archives.) This is fine and you can do things to make that more comfortable and get through it (ie, Total Tonic and Echinacea Plus). Let me know what you decide to do. If you have any questions, just ask! We're all here for you!
