Guest guest
My significant other was just recently diagnosed with a small hiatal hernia, beginnings of gastritis (this is as a result of being scoped after complaints of persistent heartburn even after treatment for H.Pylori). He's on medication but is still having severe heartburn, often keeping him up at night. I have gotten him to start drinking peppermint and chammomile teas in the evening after meals and he's finding some temporary relief. I wondered if anyone had any other ideas for me to help soothe his stomach and digestive system! Thanks! Sarah Anne
Guest guest
Hi Sarah Anne, What is his diet like? I would guess that his system is too acidic. Maybe needs to cut some things out of his diet in addition to adding more raw fruits and veggies. Panther Piss would help to balance his pH level. Don't forget the Vit E with that. Guest guest
thanks for the reply Kelli. We're Ovo/Lacto vegetarians. Well, I am. He eats meat occasionally but I do the majority of cooking and grocery shopping. I'm very concious to add fruits and vegetables (simply for health and nutrition). We also occasionally eat fish, as I recently decided to eat it again. Thanks! Sarah herbal remedies , " Kelli Bever " <kelli@c...> wrote: > > Hi Sarah Anne, > > What is his diet like? Guest guest
Hmmm, sounds like your diets are pretty good! What about grains, breads, pasta and the like? If they're unsprouted then you'll be affected by enzyme inhibitors. I still think the Panther Piss would be a good idea for him (and you). Guest guest
Thanks for the advice Kelli. I read the file on Panther Piss and I'm curious to know what results you've found with it. What is it about the molasses and vinegar that have curing properties? Would the acid be bad for his stomach though?? Just curious to know more about the remedy. Also, we're looking to attempt to " jump start " our weight loss efforts with a cleanse or fast of some sort...perhaps that will help him in the long run. Thanks! (I'm so thrilled to have found this group....) Guest guest
Hi Sarah Anne, There are posts in the archives which describe the vitamin and mineral content of Panther Piss and the benefits that way. What I tend to remember about it is the balancing of the body pH levels. If I eat bad stuff I find that I start to burp up acid, have very low energy levels, and my heartbeat is a little irregular at times. Panther Piss helps to correct all these things for me. Of course, the right handling is to eat right in the first place! LOL! Another wonderful use I've found for Panther Piss is to cure hiccups. One tablespoon handles them immediately for me! (But then again, I only get them if I've been eating contraband! LOL!) The scientific specifics are in the archives, though. Guest guest
Oh, one thing I forgot to mention, Sarah Anne. You need to take 400 IU Vitamin E with each tblspoon of PP. So if you're taking the recommended 2-3 Tsp per day, it's 800 - 1200 Vit E. That's because there's TONS of iron in the PP and an overload of that in the body isn't good. Vit E helps balance that.
