Re: Herbal Remedies - systemic fungus prob?

I'd be interested to know more about the fungal ear infection - I've had a mucus discharge - mostly green - sometimes bloody - it gets worse during a cold - in my right ear - and yes, it does itch. I've also been dealing with what I believe to be candida - because I also have recurring psoriasis and athlete's foot. When my ear problem first started about 6 years ago, my E.N.T. Doc put me on drops - I took them for about three months. It would go away and come back. I finally gave up on the E.N.T. doc and the drops - I've tried more than I can remember names for, LOL. I've made tea trea drops using apricot oil as a carrier - with fair results - it still comes back after I stop using them, though. Please don't tell me to try the cleanse - I'm working on procurring the supplies to do just that:) I would be very interested to know what exactly a fungal ear infection this is, and what to do about it - besides the cleanse (which I've read so

Hi Mary! :)

Wow, this might really help me, too. :) Couple'a questions...Would

that be Black Walnut Hull tincture? And did I understand correctly

that I can get it from Doc? Do I take that by mouth or put it directly

into my ear? How much should I take?

Thanks in advance!!

To health,

PS: Hi Tammi, I feel your pain :) I changed my diet about 2 years ago

and I'm STILL dealing with those little " leftovers " from beforehand

LOL. Perhaps we can help each other along. :)

Yes, Doc has, and you can take internally and externally. You can take as much as two drop fulls a day. Last Doc's newsletter is talking about this great stuff for all infections, tumors, cysts, and skin conditions.

I also wanted to add, but I hit send instead, LOL. Panther Piss seems to help with the amount of drainage - It still drains, just not as much, and it doesn't smell as bad - I also notice that helps with my sinuses when I have a cold, like I do now :-(. I've wondered it it's the ACV in the PP that does it - When I take a higher dose when I'm sick - like right now I'm taking 3-4 TB for my cold and my sinuses are dry enough that I can breath throuh my nose. My face hurts and I have a sinus headache, but I can breathe through my nose - so I'm not as miserable as usually am when I have a cold. Normally, I just take a TB in the A.M. and one in the P.M. If I stop taking the PP the drainage in my ear starts to stink - go figure - again, I'm thinking it has to do with the ACV.

Jeni-Laura,

Well, the first thing I did was start to eat more whole foods - then I aimed for 25% organic in my diet - I find that change has a way sticking if you take it slower - Now we're almost at 50% organic - I'll keep doing this until we can get as much organic in our diets as we can - It's difficult to do here in Mississipp. Anything "certified organic" is wildly expensive which is another reason for the slow change - I have to give my bank account time to adjust! The other thing is that my taste buds want to "revolt" from time to time. I mean my Marinated Italian Salad, while it's pretty darn good if I do say so myself - but it just doesn't compare to a slice of New York Style Cheesecake"! I'm learning to work through the cravings thank goodness, by drinking water instead - sometimes, I'll take a bite or two of what I'm craving - just enough to take the edge off - and then drink the water. The more I change the better I feel, but I suspect that The Cleanse is what I really need to right the wrongs that I've put my poor body through. I'm 33 - I'll be 34 next month and sometimes I feel like I'm 43!! But, it's getting better so maybe if I'm lucky I'l be 43 and feel like I'm 33 again.

Wow, good for you for making the change, Tammi! You're right, it does

take time. Slow is better, cuz you're more likely to stick with it

then. We started shopping at the health food store almost 2 years ago.

First it was just the meat, milk, chicken, fish, that kind of thing,

because that's where I noticed the biggest difference between organic

and conventional. Then I discovered the health food store's bulk

section. They had everything! So I started getting my snacks there,

too. Then we noticed they put in a big ol' produce section. Some is

conventional (still), but much of it is organic--and NONE of it is

GMO, like is increasingly the case at the regular grocery stores. With

the help of the AWESOME ppl on this board, I learned of sprouted grain

bread and bulk herbs and things like that. Now we cook everything from

scratch. Sure, we get salsa, pasta sauce, ready-made cold cereals,

whole wheat spaghetti noodles, and ready-made organic waffle/pancake

mixes, but we don't buy the frozen boxed dinners or anything anymore.

We make our own pancakes with our own supplies and we put in our own

ingredients. Even my organic oatmeal is PLAIN, without sugar, salt, or

seasonings. I add my own honey, cinnamon, fruit, or jams/jellies

later. Much better and much cheaper that way. (Tammi, does your health

food store have a bulk section? Is it possible for you to order some

stuff like herbs and spices over the internet? Just some cost-cutting

things we do, is all. :) ) We're probably at about 90% organic in our

diet right now. The key is reading the labels on everything. I've

researched ingredients a lot, so I have an idea of what's what and

what hazards some additives present. I make sure none of these

additives are on those labels. And one thing I've found, for anyone

trying to reduce cravings of or dependence on harmful things (whether

it's chocolate, prescription drugs, coffee, smoking, alcohol, sugar,

you name it) is to eat more veggies (lightly steamed or raw) and WHOLE

grains (refined grains don't count! :) ) Sprouted is best, if feasible.

Y'all's in health,
