Guest guest
Hi there. I'm new here. I'm just now entering the world of herbal healing. I have an anxiety disorder and I am being pushed by a lot of people to try anti-depressants. The anti-depressants really scare me though, so I'm searching for an alternative. I have done some research on a supplement called Inositol. It seems to show a lot of promise as an anti-depressant and anti-anxiety agent. Has anyone here heard of this, or better yet, tried it? If not, any other suggestions on anxiety remedies would be appreciated. Thanks!
Guest guest
Anxiety disorder is serious problem and if it is very extreme, then the anti-anxiety drugs may help. With that said there are a number of vitamins and nutrients that may help along with some dietary modifications. First the diet. Eliminate all sources of caffiene including chocolate. Also, get off refined white flour and refined white sugar. Next, find a good health food store and buy B-complex 100. Take 2-3 capsules daily. Inositol is a part of B-complex. In additon, buy Fish Oil. The omega-3 fatty acids help with brain chemisrty. Again 3 capsules daily. Kava is the best herb for anxiety if you can find it. Otherwise try and find L-theanine. It is also very good for anxiety. Hope this helps, James
Guest guest
Hi James, Per the list policies: " 9. This list is Naturopathic and deals with all natural remedies and Nutrition only. Allopathic medical treatment and psychiatric treatment are extremely destructive to the health of human beings and promotion or discussion of such is OT (off topic). However, how to handle the destructive results of such treatment using natural methods is definitely ON topic. " recommendation of any allopathic drug is not a topic for this list.
