Guest guest
I have noticed that the flax seed comes out the same way it went in. You can also grind it in a coffee grinder to break up the seeds. Flax seeds should always be soaked (unless you decide to grind them). The next day they will have a mucilaginous goop surrounding them. I used to go to a holistic doctor and she would have me take a few spoonsful of the seeds with that slimey stuff everyday. I guess it's more digestible that way. Gloria
Guest guest
I have been putting straight flax seed into my daily Total Nutrition drink. I have noticed that the flax seed comes out the same way it went in. So I am thinking I should sprout the flax seed before I add it to the TN drink. What is the best way to do this?? Guest guest
Does this release the powerful properties of the flax seed?? I was under the impression that it didn't because of the powerful enzyme still active within the seeds?? Maybe I am misled?? Amy links I can read on this?? The best way to add flaxseed to your diet is to ground iit first in a coffee grinder. I put tablespoon of ground flaxseed on my oatmeal every morning. This has been a real help fo rmy immune system. Try grinding the seeds before adding them to your drink. Charles la Tuna
