Guest guest
I have 3 dogs. I was infested this year with fleas. After trying alot of remedies, the following has rid me of fleas. We are in Louisiana, very wet and my dogs are in and out as they please so the fleas were even bugging me until I lotioned my dogs with EMU oil. You can get it online and I paid 19.00 for 8 oz. including shipping. I have used 2 oz. in a month and I treat 2 rottweillers and a schnauser every other day: First, I shampood them with a mild pet shampoo.Any shampoo let on their skin for five minutes will kill the fleas. The soap affects fleas exoskeleton.I did NOT USE FLEA SHAMPOO, just plain old dog shampoo. I let the shampoo sit in their coat for 5 minutes. Then I rinsed, and applied the emu oil to their coats. I rubbed a quarter sized amount in my palms and dotted it along thei coat. Then I massaged it in their coat.I did their face and eyes and tail area really well. Then I let them sit in the back of the truck to dry so they wouldn't roll. 2 days later, i applied another rubbing of oil. 2 days later, I bathed them and oiled them again. I have been doing this for 1 month and the fleas are gone. I didn't see 1 flea their last bath. I hope this healps you. Everything else I tried helped a little, but never really stopped the itching and scratching. Even 1 flea bite has my dogs really itchy. They are also RAW dogs, but this wet really helps the fleas spread.
