If this is the first time you are doing the TBC, you are in for a treat with the potassium broth, it is awesome! Both the aroma and taste. I have done other cleanses before, with some success, but this one of Doc's is very well planned and makes it much easier to follow with all the particulars laid out. In my opinion, the only way out of ill health, no matter how major or minor, is to go through the cleanse to rid ones' body of all the toxins, parasites, etc. that made for the ill health to begin with. To top it all off, the TBC is done naturally. Well, I could go on and on, but that's it for now. LOL Phyllis

Guest guest
At minimum, 24 days. I say at minmum, because during the liver cleanse days, you might need a few extra days. Also a few people have mentioned they needed a few more days on week 1 or 2. Thankfully for DH and I we had great results and finished in 24. Honestly, if you break it down and set your goal each week to get thru that one week or cleanse, it's a more achievable goal and then you are ready to go onto the next phase. I hope that made sense?!?! Guest guest
Thanks Phyllis, Yes, this is my first TBC . I've done juice cleanses in the past, but I'm really very excited to be doing the TBC. I've heard so many wonderful things about it, even though it sounds like it can be a struggle sometimes. Guest guest
Honestly, I pissed an moaned off and on from then end of week 1 until the end of week 3. In the end i laughed at myself because it really was not as bad as i made it out to be (for myself) and i felt fantastic. Now i am the biggest cheerleader for the program and try to encourage everyone i know to do it. In fact i have even talked to total strangers in the HFS if i happen to overhear them talking to the employees about what to buy. I know how sick i was before the TBC and i know how great i feel now, and think everyone should feel as good if not better! Not to mention that most goofs at the HFS are just there to sell product and dont really know that much other than what the supplement mfg's have told them about their products (note that i said MOST, i know there are some very knowledgeable people working in some stores, but have noted to myself that this is not alwyas true, nor do most have any background or interest in natural healing after they get off work). Guest guest
Hello, I thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself. I'm a 34 year old single mom of 4. I've been interested in herbals for a few years now, and am please to have found this group. I hope to take full advantage of everyone's knowledge. I do have a question....lately my daughter has been telling me that the whites of my eyes are yellowed, particularly in the corners. A few years ago, I donated blood and was informed that they couldn't use my donation because of some liver enzyme level being high. The letter said it could be because of excessive alcohol or Tylenol, and I use neither. I do however take a prescription blood pressure med everyday, and I'm wondering if this med is causing some liver problems? I've started supplementing Milk Thistle and Lecithin. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!! Crystal

Guest guest
I have liver problems too, caused by mis-diagnosis and over-perscribed meds. Here is what I take daily in tincture form, but be warned, it tastes absolutely awful: burdock root, dandelion root, oregon grape root, licorice, ginger, orange peel, milk thistle and gentian root. My liver specialist told me to stop taking it immediately. Of course, I was disinclined to acquiesce to his suggestion, and later tests showed dramatic improvement. Oh, almost forgot. I also use castor oil packs now and then over the liver area because sometimes it just aches dully. Best wishes and prayers that you find a "program" that works for you!!
