with the salt intake and I am sweating horrendously now too, I am

pre- menopauseal, and i do drink lots of water and with the heat here

in texas i suppose i need to increase my water consumption. I take

(every day) a stress b vitamin, selenium, vit. e, alpha lipoic

acid, about 3000 to 6000 mg of vitamin c,and milk thistle 1000 mg. and

a couple liverite tablets. other than that i don't know what it could

Well, I know with me, when my hormones are off, I retain water. You

said you were pre-menopause so this could be the case... there is

some kind of female tonic in the files. I haven't tried it, but

perhaps someone here has and can give you feedback. I know with me

nettle, red clover, and red raspberry are helping with my hormone

imbalance. I take them separately or together in an infusion. I mix

red clover and red raspberry with mint because sometimes it gets too

bitter. I make my infusions strong.

Jina, i am way past the Sr Citizen age and have Rheumaoid Arthritis

and with it came the edema. Several of the members here suggested

upping my intake of MSM ( had been taking 1 teaspoon twice a day) and

after a few days of gradually upping the amount i have been taking

1/2 tablespoon (=1 1/2 teaspoons) 3 times a day, and the edema has

nearly gone away. Also, i had, inspite of special exercises, been

having some problems with incontenenc and that problem has improved.

My joints are much more movable and less pain. Do some research on

it.

granny lee, also here in Texas
