Kelli:

What a sweet and kind email. I have found the people on this list are some of the kindest people I have met. I am so surprised because I would have thought it would be like all other lists--informational first and then we don't want to bother with you because you are ignorant/unlearned, and you have nothing to offer us so bug off. But this list is chock full of wonderful folks, and you are an example of it.

My body's actions have really been awful. I hate bleeding, and as I get older, it seems senseless entirely. At my age, if I were to get pregnant, I'd probably die from the shock, or the pregnancy, or the delivery, and definitely from the raising of another child. I'd need a 20 year nanny, and believe me, I am not that rich! I could not do it alone, and my husband does not want more kids either. So why does my body want to keep this up? I don't think my body is making sense in a natural way. Unfortunately, my aunt said she was still ovulating at 58. Oh my! And I think my body is punishing me for altering it by having my tubes tied 8 years ago. *G* I am very much against alterations that medicos (like Doc's term) put on us, and they did it to me without prior consent which I would not have consented to if they had asked when I was not in the middle of surgery.

I will call Doc as soon as I get back. I imagine he will say get off the meds too. That will mean that I will be scared to death for a week that I will hemorrhage. And I will probably be in bed with migraines for a few days. But that is also what the MD said. (Does MD stand for Mad Doctor?) So if I hemorrhage, I will hemorrhage under the MD's direction. Boy, do I look forward to that!

I thank you for the hope that it will be over with soon. It is really awful to bleed a little all the time. It is like you get your hope up that it is over, and then you find it is not. Then you get your hope up again, and it is not. And I am tired a lot, and I get headaches a lot, and I get really depressed at least in part because my hormones seem to be up and down and up and down. I see a change in me even when I miss them by an hour and don't bleed. Isn't that awful? I truly have come to hate these meds. I consider them a horrible, wrong solution for me.

Unfortunately, I don't react well to medications anyway, and I have reactions to things that are very extreme. I took some herbs once, and I was having hot flashes, itching and panic attacks for about 2-3 hours. It was in the middle of the night, and I was about to go to emergency when the attacks stopped. I get hot flashes from several different kinds of meds, and I have taken some that make me get obsessive compulsive. So anytime someone suggests medications, I get upset.

I saw a counselor today, and told him I was depressed about some things going on in my life (son is bipolar and causing all kinds of problems, and that explains a lot), and he said I might consider taking Prozac! Oh H E doubletoothpicks, yeah, right! He has no clue that I am fighting this hormonal sh**, and I didn't bother to tell him. And being a man, he probably wouldn't understand. But it is depressing just to have to deal with this constant bleeding. It isn't like a period, it is like I am in the second to the last day of having a period, but it lasts for day after day after day after day after day on end. But it seems to drain me so physically and emotionally. I just can't explain it. But I am also having a reaction to this medication as it has caused me horrible night sweats, and when I take meds that don't agree with me, I have night sweats badly. And with this, I wake up with a migraine about every couple of days. So my body is really objecting to taking these meds. And yet, the alternative is not that good either. *sigh*

Thanks for your kindness and concern. It does help to have someone say they feel for me. It really does.

Smiles,

Kay

Hi Kay, I am so sorry that your body is causing you such grief. I agree with you that this situation really needs to change for you. You have all my good thoughts and wishes for you behind that. When you get back from your vacation, give Doc a call immediately. Ask him specifically about getting off the meds (before or after the cleanse, although I think I know what he'll say) and what you need to do to get through this. I'm really hoping that this will all be over for you very quickly and you'll look back on this as a bad nightmare that's finally over.

Best,

Kelli

T hanks to all who responded. I ODed on the MD meds, so now it has sort of stopped it looks like so far. I hate those things--progesterone. All I know is that I am turning into a boy--getting flatter chested. But I haven't grown a ... oh, never mind.

Kay, just thought of something, reading how you are depressed and all. Are you taking Panther Piss?

bleeding can seriously deplete your minerals/iron. That could account for depression and tiredness!

Not saying that the problem itself cannot account for it, as I can't imagine having that much bleeding; but maybe the physical side adds to it??

Hi Lisa:

I am still so impressed with the concern and kindness of this list, and you are one of those too. I am so impressed!

No, I have not started taking it. I made it the other day, but thought I'd wait until I got back from vacation. Shall I start even though I'm not on the program yet? I thought I should start it all at once.

Hi Kay, hope you still get this before you go on holiday.

Yes, start taking it NOW!!! You really need to replenish your iron! Take 3 tbs per day until you feel better, then reduce to maintenance dose of 2 tbs per day!
