This afternoon his energy started picking up again and then a little later I noticed him laying on the floor/lazing around and he was getting his fever back. Guest guest Posted July 5, 2004 Report Share Posted July 5, 2004 Are his lymph nodes swollen in his neck, under his arms, etc? My son had something called Adenovirus when he was little. He woke up in the middle of the night crying. I went to check on him and he was burning up. I asked him if he felt bad and he just said, “my arms are really heavy and my head hurts”, those were the only symptoms. Turns out his arms were “heavy” because his lymph nodes under his arms were so swollen. Nothing you can really do about it medicinally since it is viral except boost the immune system.
