Guest guest
Also, from my experience with bpd, many--if not the majority--of things you can do to combat it are mental rather than physical in nature. Breathing and relaxation techniques really helped me--a lot of the symptomatic stuff in bpd is brought on by too much stress--but probably the *most* helpful thing I did was to keep a journal of my moods, diet, and general state of mind as well as what bothered me (gave me symptoms) in different " phases " . I've been eight years medicine-free with mine and doing well, by keeping an eye on my mental state and knowing what things I should seek out or avoid (like exercise, company, media, etc.) based on where I'm at. Or, as they say, Know Thyself. -S.
