Why did we wait so long???

 

Rights have been eroded in our country for decades. In fact that started right after the last of the writers/signers of the constitution died in the early 1820s (gun laws, i think, but i could be wrong on that). No, it was before that, i think i read somewhere that there were, in Massachusetts in the 1790s, cumpulsory attendance laws made for some school there. Look at some of the EOs (executive orders) signed in the early 1960s. Seems to me that there is nothing new under the sun. Pres. Bush could not have gotten away with even thinking of something like this IF his predecessors hadn't laid out the foundation.

 

Fighting for our rights is the right thing to do.. I just wonder why it has taken so long and hope it isn't too late. There are more than 2 political parties, tho the media would rather you not know that. So why do we listen to the media? There are libertarians as Doc said, there are consitutionalists and several more parties. Find one you agree with and then take action.
