Guest guest
Okay Okay, Shrek had an ear candle too! I saw that in the movie. Hee Hee!! That WAS nice romantic lighting. But seriously, Ear candling is when you take a specially made hollow candle and take certain precautions and light it on fire and the vacuum created is supposed to be gentler and more effective in cleaning out the hardcore wax plaque in your ears than water treatment. It is also supposed to be good at clearing out sinuses and resident candidasis and bacterial mold as well. Candling dates back to Egyption times. I don't want to be skeptical so if anyone has had experience with this procedure I would like to hear about your experiences. Ciao, Uh, what'd you say? Guest guest
We have been doing this since I can remember in our family. I remember as a child, my sister had a lot of problem with wax build up and she had this done many times. It always worked for her. I now see them in my health food stores but personally don't have any experience other than watching my sister go through it. Guest guest
Hmmmm..... DH said when he was little if any of the kiddos had an ear infection their dad would blow CIGARETTE smoke into it and it'd go away. If that works, I'd imagine " regular " smoke would do wonders. Guest guest
Ear candling is a very effective way to rid wax, mold and candida from the ear canals. And it costs only about $10 for the ear candles, as opposed to God knows how much for going to an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist (whatever that is). Just make sure you place the candle through a hole in a tin pie plate to catch any sparks while holding it over the ear. You'll be amazed at how much comes out. I always am!
