Guest guest
It's not a water fast, though I'm eating less since unless it is meal time I just "snack" on water. I don't know how long I'll be doing this, probably until I lose 50 pounds. -Shelby P.S. I have noticed that most of my huger pangs were really thirst pangs. I also have loads more clarity of thought, will power, energy. I'm blown away my how much better I feel. And that is WITH the toxic stomach, liver and massive candidias. Guest guest
Hey Folks, Is there ever such a thing as drinking too much water? I drink almost two gallons of water a day. It is a habit I've gotten into back in my everyday 1-2 hour workout days. I don't workout everyday for 2 hours anymore, but my water consumption is about the same. In an unrelated note, does anyone on this list do "ear candling?" If so does it work? Guest guest
It's really hard to. In the book "The Body's Many Cries for Water", It says to east more salt if you are water overloaded. Tow gallons is on the high side, but he's on lithium for bi-polar problems and that stuff dehydrates you. garysaucedo [garysaucedo]Friday, July 02, 2004 1:50 PMherbal remedies Subject: RE: Herbal Remedies - Water Detox Update Hey Folks, Is there ever such a thing as drinking too much water? Guest guest
Too much water can throw off your electrolytes and mess with your potassium. Do you ever have leg cramps? Guest guest
Hi Stacy, I don't regularly experience leg cramps thank goodness, but is that the only way that drinking too much water could manifest itself? I use a potassium crystal for antiperspirant/deodorant, so I think that may help. Peace GaryStacy Heath <ycats wrote: Too much water can throw off your electrolytes and mess with your potassium. Guest guest
Hey Shelby, I borderline on having high blood pressure so I have weaned myself off of salt and high salt items. The other day someone offered me a dorito and I foolishly accepted one because I didn't want to be " anti- social " . I don't know what they make doritos out of these days but the taste of the thing was so powerful, it shot to the back of my mouth and I immediately, instinctively spit it out into my hand. So much for being social eh? I still like certain pretzels with a homebrew however. :')....! Peace, Gary herbal remedies , " Shelby Blakely " <s.blakely@v...> wrote: > It's really hard to. Guest guest
Hey Gary, Well the only other way I know to tell if you are low on potassium is a “funny feeling” heart beat. Potassium has a lot to do with the regulation and rhythm of your heart, so if your potassium is too low your heart will flutter or have a hard time keeping a rhythm, but leg cramps usually surface first, unless you drink caffeine, then that can exacerbate the heart arrhythmia. If I were drinking THAT much water, I would probably try to incorporate a banana or a little sodium in some form into my diet every day. But with it being summer, it varies with how much you sweat and all that too. Stacy Hi Stacy, I don't regularly experience leg cramps thank goodness, but is that the only way that drinking too much water could manifest itself? Guest guest
Hi Shelby, Sounds like this is really working great for you!! Is this a procedure you heard about or did you make this one up? I'm curious what process you're following. It sounds like you're still eating. What foods are you having? Have you cut anything out food-wise for this? How much weight have you lost so far? Gosh, a clean, workable house! Sounds wonderful!! LOL!! :)Kelli Shelby Blakely [s.blakely] Friday, July 02, 2004 2:31 PMherbal remedies Subject: RE: Herbal Remedies - Water Detox Update It's not a water fast, though I'm eating less since unless it is meal time I just "snack" on water. Guest guest
Oh my gosh, what a story Gary! LOL!! Don't think I'll ever be inclined to try a Dorito again! LOL!! On the high blood pressure, are you taking anything for that? If not, I highly recommend fresh, raw garlic and cayenne. I have a friend whose mom had severe high blood pressure - she passed out on a cross-country plane flight and was hospitalized. I recommended the same to her and now she's not only doing better, but she's off her medications! Guest guest
Hey Kelli ! Yeah, it seems like every product these days has to be BOLD, EXTREME or ULTRA and you have to consume it while snow boarding or poppin wheelies on a motorcycle! I do the fresh garlic and cayenne everyday. Both do a good job keeping my blood flowing fairly even, especially the cayenne helps with the circulation flowing evenly and far. I use a good ole tablespoon of it in water every morning. Hey couldn't that be perceived as XTREME to the MAXIMUM !!? VIBES2U GaryKelli Bever <kelli wrote: Oh my gosh, what a story Gary! LOL!! Guest guest
I got it from a book called, "The Body's Many Cries for Water". I forget the author. Basically I'm drinking half my body weight in water in ounces a day. Say you weigh 200 pounds. you cut that in half and drink that many ounces. so you would drink about 100 ounces of water daily. I'm just eating regular, but since I've started my sugar cravings have dropped dramatically, which is a big thing for me because I'm a HUGE sugar hog. Did I mention I have candidas? -Shelby P.S. And the house is STILL clean!
