Guest guest
The dog was simply toxic love. Seriously. My golden loves grapes almost as much as I do. She does fine. I test everything on her. If she eats it I watch her and her stools all day long and her antics. dogs, bears, cats and all forms of carnivores eat fruit. Yes they do it in moderation but they all eat them. Just remember when an MD is saying something about symptoms he's talking about symptoms not the causes. The article says the dog kept puking etc. There was probably a lot the dog couldn't get out of it's system. I feel sorry for the dog too. Man what a scary story but it's full of holes and woefully inconclusive as to what really caused the problem and what exactly the problem was, why they couldn't fix it etc. Zeb - Sylvia herbal remedies Wednesday, June 30, 2004 7:43 PM Herbal Remedies - Dog and Kitty Off limits I had no idea! We've even let our monster cat have a grape every now and then.Once of the sites however also said not to give them Garlic or Onion? Thats is something we give the dog often including spicy stuff prepared with chilies. He even likes my pico de gallo. There were other things too like Macadamias, potatoe peels and tomato plants.Anyone had one of their animals get sick from this? I only gave puppy about 5 grapes and he is 90lbs, so i'm hoping he will be ok.Sylviaherbal remedies , "Cheryl" <portable_kitten> wrote:> Please be careful as grapes can be toxic to dogs and cause kidney > failure.
