Guest guest
Thanks for the idea with the petromalt. I do keep some on hand for my wooly rabbits I have for spinning wool, for emergencies, as they get wool block which can kill them fast if not treated. But, what I did is gave her some pumpkin with her dinner last night. She pooped beautifully this am. We did this with my hearing assistance dog when she got terribly ill last winter. She just went limp, and couldn’t stand to relieve herself and all for a couple weeks. Finally she started standing again, but couldn't poop, so I started feeding her pumpkin and it all started moving easily, but not TOO easily. Really works good. She is walking better every day. She even managed to climb out of her deep box last night and end up under the couch. But, her femur is definitely messed up, so she is going to have to go in. But, I have to wait until Wed if I can't find a vet who'll let me pay a couple days late, because I am broke right now, and get paid then. All this moving wiped us out. I will keep you posted. Kim S.
