Candace,

Did you ever see her and Toby "stuck" together, you know, at the hips? I know, it's gross, but it is how dogs do it. The male gets stuck in the female for about 45 minutes, very minimum is 20. It's call a tie. No tie, no puppies.

8 months is not too young. I can't remember the youngest, but it is pretty young. 62 days is gestation for all dogs.

I didn't really pay that much attention. Just seemed every time I went outside or looked out the window they were at it again. I'd just think "oh good grief!" and walk away.
