Are you mobile enough to garden and if so, Do you have room where you live to grow and small patch of herbs? Perhaps you can grow some of the stuff you would need? Plus it is fun and a great stress reliever to work in the garden (even if that garden is all in containers!) Sylvia Hi Sylvia, I have plans to make room for this by next summer. As of now I have a Rosemary bush that is great, and nothing else. I have a friend who really knows how to garden and have been learning a lot about it. I'd love to learn how to grow more than the rosemary -- so far it's all I've managed to get to survive from my last year's novice attempt to grow a few things like tomatoes and herbs ( rosemary and basil ) the tomatoes did not fare so well! I'm currently thinking of replanning a certain area of the yard for this purpose -- plans still in the initial stages. Thanks for the reminder and the prod. I don't mean to be difficult by complaining about money. But math is math, and there's only so much. A constant source of aggravation for me is that my husband went and got us each our own cellphone though I adamently asked him to NOT get me one and now we can't ( and he wont') cancel them without incurring huge fees. That would be $100 a month in the budge I could use for so many other things. This $17 internet charge we all share, my daughter uses it so much, and I have my home page on it, the aol we';re keeping :-) ( see how I have to justify every little thing ) I like the idea of a garden. I think a garden should be well planned. I'mworking on it. Blessings, Cathie
