Kelli,

The recipe i posted for Caroline was not for use in machines, it is a

pasta recipe from my Italian Cook book. It's for handmade/handrolled

pasta.

I used the recipe that came with the machine. I suspect a couple of

things about the pasta i made: 1) Esential eating flour is a bit

denser in this format, 2) i used the spaghetti die and it is a

really fat noodle 7 3) it was really hot and dry that day and just

plain old took longer to cook?

My next test drive i am going to try the capellini die.

use the recipe that the machine came with? Just curious because you

said yours was too dry and that you had to cook it much longer than

the recommended 60 seconds.

Ah, interesting. Still haven't tried my machine. Husband is still on the cleanse and would probably kill me if I ate pasta in front of him right now! LOL!

Did you cook in salted water like the video says? I did watch that...

Yep, salted water!

The recipe calls for " Gold Medal Flour " though. No way i will ever

use processed white flour! I just had to cook it longer was all.

By the way, did i mention that the taste was really yummy? Even

though it took a bit longer to cook, the flavor was excellent!
