Guest guest
Hi guys, need some advice. A person on another list I'm on, has a (young) Down's Syndrome son with reflux, for which he takes Zantac. I was going to suggest Panther Piss for him. But when I searched my data base, I came up with two opposite datums. One says that reflux is too much acid, one says reflux is not enough acid!! So, which one is right? And would Panther Piss be the right handling in either case? Anyone?? Thanks guys. Guest guest
I've had success handling reflux using " Advanced Stomach Support Formula " (Chinese herbal product), put out by VitaPharmica Inc., Portola Hills, CA 92579. One is supposedly to use this stuff for 2-3 months to handle the condition, but I actually just use it once or twice when I get reflux and that takes care of it. I might get some reflux again (it's super bad when I get it) several months later, then I take a dose and it goes away, and maybe I take another dose the next day. As far as I know, reflux is not too much acid, but rather a failure of a valve in the esophagus to keep the acid where it belongs (in the stomach). Various things can cause this, including being overweight, bacteria, etc. xoxo JoJo
Guest guest
I had really bad, bad bad reflux untill i changed my eatig habits and Zantac did helpme a lot, but what helped most of all was, after totally staying off mainly milk products, red meats, sugars, and fats which means no unk food, for wuite a while, and taking acidophilis between meals, DGL (da form of licoris) before meals, and vegetable enzymes after, i have very little trouble with it any more and havee been able to add a few things back to my diet occasionally. do a web search on these items and se what you can learn. Before i started using the above items, i would have acid coming clear up into my sinus and i'd nearly choke to death or suffacate as the fumes would get in my trachea. Now i don't have to take the above only when needed. Fats are the hardest for me to digest. granny lee herbal remedies , " Lisa Belcher " <lisabelcher@t...> wrote: > Hi guys, > > need some advice. Guest guest
All these foods you mention, granny, contribute to an acid condition in the body, so I would think that if Lisa's young friend is also on a "Standard American Diet" or similar, that the Panther Piss would definitely help. I agree that cleaning up the diet would be the ultimate thing to do, though. :)Kelli tvksi [leo] Monday, June 14, 2004 9:13 PMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - Re: Reflux??I had really bad, bad bad reflux untill i changed my eatig habits
