Dermatitis on For-arm does not itch -- what IS it from ?

Hi All,

I recently developed a rash that comes and goes on the underneath,

soft part, toward the outside rim of my forarm(s).

It does not itch burn or bother me in any way other than that I

SEE it there. It feels a little dry and rough to the touch. It

comes and goes.

A doctor suggested I put hydro-cortisone cream on it but I have

not and do not intend to.

I have been taking coumadin for the past13 years due to sever

venous insufficiency related to repeated clotting in the left leg.

The left leg was filled with clot solid in the femoral and tibial

veins ( I might be leaving something out but it went straight through

from hip to ankle ). I have a genetic condition called low protein S

which is a tendency to clot, so with the damage to circulation in

that leg ( left leg ) I have been on coumadin to prevent further

clotting.

I have a referral to see a dermatologist, but am not overly

optimistic about the visit.

I have been trying to clean up my diet as much as possible under

the circumstances, and have cut out all sugar, and potato chips ( was

on a bad binge trapped at home for a month with a bad sprained ankle

and then a cold for about a month ). And have cut out " junk " food.

I've been drinking Pau d Arco tea.

I've been on the coumadin for 13 years and when I was off it for a

spell about 4 years ago, the leg reclotted.

Since that time, there has been some clearing in the leg, but it

still requires intermittent elevation throughout the day.

Is it even possible for me to do a Cleanse while taking this Drug?

Does this sound like a side effect of the drug?\

I just started noticing this rash a little over two or three weeks

ago. It started over a spot on my wrist on the under inner side, in

a small circle directly over a lipoma that is just under ths kin

there. With an oblong patch extending along the forarm on the lower

outer side.

I've been going to the sauna and drinking plenty of water.

Eating cabbage, taking lemon juice in water. Trying to clean up my

diet.

I have not done any kind of official cleanse as my concern is if I

should do a cleanse while taking a medication like coumadin.

Does anybody have any idea what this rash is a result of?

 

as I said, it does NOT itch, burn or have any other " feeling "

sensation to it other than it is visually noticable, comes and goes,

and is like faint reddish, dots and lines.

 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
