Guest guest
Sylvia, How old is your "beast"? He sounds like a handful, but I bet I would have fun with him, being an animal behaviorist. I love to take friends' dogs for a few weeks to do some behavior work and help them work through stuff. Horses are my specialty, but dogs are second. Kim S. Guest guest
The juvenile deliquent (as we often call him) is about 9 or 10months old. Not sure of exact age since we adopted him from an agency. what we do know is: he's half Rott (mom was a full bred breeder) and half something else, which we are speculating may be border collie (hyper, loves to fetch, dig, and he is super BOUNCY, has some markings that are similar in border collies and also coat is " fluffy " in places) They agency got him straight from the breeder in October and he was just weened He is mostly a good boy, but very prone to disobey, especially when instructed to do something or come when he is called. We have given him tons of chew toys, balls, frisbees, etc and during the day he is mostly allowed to stay inside with me, unless he keeps pestering me or the cats and then i toss him out for a while. He sleeps inside everynight except the one night he was being punished for ripping open the bags of manure. He gets hugs and kisses everyday as well as a minimum of 20 minutes of toss and fetch with one of his many balls.
