Guest guest
Bonnie, I was using Slippery Elm because of the upper gi part of my chest. I had a feeling in my chest. It wasn't really indigestion BUT it was a feeling there and it was hard to explain. I ran out of Slippery Elm and I am going to get some more soon...this week. After I took the slippery Elm, that feeling or sort of tightness or whatever went away. the ent doctor when i saw him to look at my throat and thyroid to make sure there wasn't anything there said that it was pretty red down here. All he kept on saying was ACID REFLUX!! He said that I was probably refluxing at night and not even knowing it. i have really given up on the doctors and stuff. my husband is begging me to call the doctor AGAIN to see if they can do an endoscopy on me. to find out if that area is fine down there or what? no matter what i eat....i am still having just about the same symptom's as before...i know diet is very important when dealing w/ your thyroid. --bloated, some headaches in the back of my head, pms feelings, gassy, deit change doesn't help and also a speeded up metabolism. I have some plant enzymes here but there aren't really good at all. If I take one or two it really doesn't seem to be doing anything. any information you could give would be VERY APPRECIATED!!! also, in a brain fog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 95 % of these are thyroid type of symtoms....i am not a doctor but I have been doing my research....hyperthyroidism.... LOVE SUSAN thanks for the information yesterday about the dandelion. I thought that i read somewhere that it was a laxative also along w/ a diruetic but w/my brain problems...it was very hard to know that for sure.....Bonnie Rogers <bonnie wrote: Susan, are you using slippery elm to start to heal your colon? I'd be using it with some organic whole milk yogurt to start healing the colon and adding lots of good flora in. Also I don't know where you are located, but a wonderful thing to start to work on your colon with is to start drinking some plantain tea. In most areas you can find plantain growing all over. I'm going to try to attach a picture of plantain so you can see what it looks like. If you have it, pick the fresh leaves, down to the bottom of the little stalk, fill your jar fill and then fill it again with boiling water, let it steep a few hours, then drink and store remainder in refrigerator and drink it either warm or cold.
