Well i dropped from a 16 to a 14 and a 12 on some stuff. It seems

like in the last few weeks i have begun losing again.

I really need to exersize to kick things up again, but it has been so

hot, i just dread going outside in the morning to walk. Nightime

when it cools, there are skeeters and coyotes and hubby works until

almost 9.

regardless, i know i will never get back down to a 5 again but would

be super happy with a 9!

I'm 5ft though!

I should not weigh what i do and am pushing the envelope! a size 9

would be so awesome.

I think it's doable and not only that, i'd have to weigh around 120

or 125 which is an acceptably healthy weight for my age.

Don't you have a dog you could take for walks to ward off any coyotes!?!

We have them around here, that's why we got our pups. We had all kinds of

things that go bump in the night living in the woods by our yard. Since we

got the pups everything fled to somewhere safe.

This year we have corn growing in the field by our house and when it's tall

I worry Brock will run into it and I won't be able to find him before a

coyote does.

I was exactly 5 feet tall when I got pregnant. While pregnant I grew 2 " so

now I'm 5'2 "

I weigh 123 pounds which is the heaviest I've ever been (besides while

pregnant). I'm hoping the soon coming cleanse will help me kick into high

gear with the exercising and toning. I can't afford to lose 20 pounds like

some do while on the cleanse, but I'm sure my body knows this! Let's hope my

body knows this!

Oh yes Jamie...Please do tell how you do this with baking soda and vinegar. I clean my carpets at least once every two weeks...with 4 cats and 2 dogs...I don't have much of a choice! Plus I have one cat who never comes out from under the chair...she pees and poops right there...so I am always cleaning the carpet in that spot!! Good thing I have a heavy duty machine...just don't know how the vinegar and baking soda thing would work...

Oh, that's excellent Sylvia! I'm thinking about doing another juice fast next week. My daughter is going on her "pre-10-yr-old" road trip with my mom next week (to Salt Lake City Utah!) so my schedule will be a little less hectic. What juice are you using? I've used apple the last 3 juice fasts I've done. I would like to do something different this time.

What I have to do when I'm on the cleanse or a juice fast is to stay focused on the goal I'm trying to achieve. If I keep looking at what I'm trying to leave behind (or looking in the "rear view mirror" as I like to call it! LOL!) then my progress isn't as good as if I "look forward"! Anyway, that's just what works for me.

Hope you're having fun with the grandsons! :)

This reminds me of a funny story I just have to share: When I was a

kid in third grade (about 8 years old), our teacher told us that one

could take baking soda (in water) for an upset stomach. I sort of

filed that away as a fact in my mind. We also did a little class

project where we made a volcano using vinegar and baking soda,

remember that? It sort of explodes with all the fizzing. That little

fact I failed to file away (or filed it away somewhere far, far

away). Well, I also used to like to sip on vinegar now and then

(don't ask me why). I remember sipping on vinegar one afternoon and

getting an upset stomach. I recalled the teacher suggesting to drink

baking soda water for an upset stomach. So I mixed myself some baking

soda water and drank it down. BOOM !!! My stomach exploded,

literally. I'm amazed I didn't rupture it ! And out came a burp (all

at once) about the " size " of a grapefruit. THEN I remembered the

volcano experiment ...
