Guest guest
My heart goes out to you. I know how you feel, all to well. With your other puppy, just sit quietly where she can see you, with food, treats and water near you. Don't try to reach for her, just sit quietly and talk softly when you do speak. Just breath deep and relax. She can sense your emotions, and mixed with hers, she is bound to be frightened. If you can relax and just be, she will feel more confident in approaching you again. She may even try to find solace in your company. Don't push her at first, you may scare her worse. I too believe that she doesn't blame you, she is just sensitive to the pain you are feeling and it is confusing her more. She needs you to be able to hold yourself together just for a bit so she has a way to deal with her remorse and loss. Just my 2 cents. Kim S.
