Guest guest
Hi all, I just found this recipe that is originally a cookie recipe. I came up with other ideas for it and changed the ingredients a little. You can make cookies, use it as a topping to yogurt or whatever, eat it raw (which I was doing as I was making them). I am making the cookies, but I was going to try with a lower temp at a longer time period. Just experimenting... This is a great one for kids!!! Anyway enjoy!!! Lisa 3 large, ripe bananas 1 cup chopped dates 2 cups rolled oats (I didn't soak mine, being the first time, but I thought it should work if you do) 1/3 cup coconut oil (I melted it first) 1 tsp vanilla extract To make the cookies: Preheat oven 350 F In large bowl, mash the bananas Stir in oats, dates, oil, and vanilla. Mix well. Let stand for 15 minutes (don't have to do if you soak oats) Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a baking tray lined with greased wax paper. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
