Guest guest
Slyvia, You sent me a post but I accidentally deleted it.... if you can, please resend...thanks.... Shelby, WELL...actually the doctors don't know... i am seeing a certified nutritionist...and also she is a doctor also... i had along time ago..i had acid reflux...THEN...turned to dyspepsia (bad indigestion)...THEN turned to other stomach problems...THEN turned to I think a microorganism problem...that first doctor i went to SWORE that I didn't have microorganisms...the stool culture that they did was nothing really...I was so constipated....THEN...my thyriod and esophogus swelled up...I THINK it has gone down but I still have pain sometimes...especially after eating sugary, dairy or salty foods...i have cut down on the dairy and sugar.....but still have an uncomfortable feeling, pain or something...near my thyroid that comes and goes...also hits my larynx sometimes also...i STILL don't have my voice back. I DITCHED my first doctor...he thought i was looney tunes!!! I was taking a yeast cleanse and taking something to go to sleep because I haven't been sleeping..I finally begged my endocrinologist TO REDO the bloodwork ON my thyroid...everybody keeps on telling me that my thyroid is fine...but I am not so sure.... If it's clear he doesn't know what he's talking about, what exactly is his purpose? susan leach [onechildwld1]Friday, June 04, 2004 3:17 AMherbal remedies Subject: RE: Herbal Remedies - To Kelli Hello, well, my gi doctor put me on reglan which I KNOW isn't going to do anything except for constipation! I told him that I didn't think that it was going down right. I thought that it wasn't being absorbed correctly. I told him that I didn't feel like it was reflux...the gi doctor said my thyroid was fine. Then, my regular doctor doesn't want me to be on any supplements or any rx's...she wants to see how I do. i have imsomnia, some hot flashes, pms symptoms, fatigue and brain "FOG." I got the reglan BUT don't think that I am going to take it. I have tried twice on it and it didn't do anything but severely constipate me. the gi doctor says if that doesn't work then he is going to stretch my esophogus. I understand that you have a lot of physical issues going on, but whether you go conventional medical route or alternative, just treating the symptoms is not going to be a final handling of the situation. You need to handle the CAUSE of all this, and it's TOXINS. You need to do a general, overall cleanse, and the one I recommend is the Total Body Cleanse. Cutting out the sugar is IMPERATIVE as well. It is NOT FOOD. If you are hungry, eat something your body can use. The sugar things will KILL YOU SLOWLY. (Read "Sugar Blues" by William Dufty. Excellent reading!) Are you getting any exercise? Work up a sweat for at least 30 minutes each day. If this is impossible physically for you, at least get a very good walk in before bed. Also, make lists - of things you have to do, of things that are on your mind, whatever. Just write them down so you don't have to have them in your head with you when you go to bed. Have some chamomile tea before bed to help in relaxing. (There were tons of other wonderful suggestions recently on help for sleeping - check the archives.) You can get through this Susan! Keep us all posted on your progress. There will be a day in the not too distant future when you will tell us all how wonderfully you're doing! :)Kelli susan leach [onechildwld1] Thursday, June 03, 2004 5:58 AMherbal remedies Subject: RE: Herbal Remedies - To Kelli Hi Kelli, I am NOW doing a Yeast Cleanse...Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
Actually some medico place just came out and said that the thyroid panel is incredibly inaccurate and that it has about as much medical value as a busted condom. I am of course, paraphrasing. -Shelby susan leach [onechildwld1]Friday, June 04, 2004 3:03 PMherbal remedies Subject: RE: Herbal Remedies - To Slyvia and Shelby I finally begged my endocrinologist TO REDO the bloodwork ON my thyroid...everybody keeps on telling me that my thyroid is fine...but I am not so sure....
